Refresher Courses
(Levels 2 through 4)
These are three-hour “tune-up” courses that are
designed primarily for people who have decided to pursue formal ACA awards at
Levels 1, 2, 3 or 4. We will review all the skill and knowledge requirements for
the award you are pursuing, work with you to assess your areas of strength and
weakness, and then provide additional instruction and practice to make sure you
are ready for the assessment.
Note that participation in one of our day trips
could provide an alternative opportunity for a refresher for the Level 1, 2 or 3
award, and doing one of the multi-day trips (where we are more likely to have
“conditions”) could serve as a refresher for the Level 4 award. Also,
these trips will count towards the day and overnight trip requirement for your
assessment.
